TRACKER SUBSCRIPTIONS: £132.00 ANNUAL OR £342 DURATION
If a TRACKER Monitor equipped vehicle is illegally moved, a movement sensor hidden in the vehicle sends a signal to TRACKER HQ.
Stage 2:
TRACKER HQ contacts the vehicle owner to confirm whether the vehicle has been stolen. When confirmed as stolen to TRACKER HQ and the police, the TRACKER MONITOR unit hidden in the stolen vehicle is activated. The vehicle is now emitting a silent land based radio signal.
Stage 3:
The silent signal can now be picked up by any of the UK's 52 police forces that are within the vicinity of the stolen vehicle. The signal will direct the police to the exact location of the stolen vehicle.
Stage 4:
On customer request, a uniformed guard waits with your vehicle until it is recovered to a destination of your choice - anywhere in mainland Britain. This service applies only to stolen vehicles located within mainland Great Britain.

TRACKER Crosses the Channel with Tracking of Stolen UK Vehicles in France
TRACKER has just turned the screw tighter on organised car theft gangs as its French "sister" company, TRAQUEUR, has been granted rights to operate on the same radio frequency as the UK.
This now means that a UK TRACKER fitted vehicle that is stolen and shipped to France or stolen within France can now be tracked by the 'Gendarmerie Nationale' and the 'Police Nationale'- the equivalent of the UK police force - via the same detection equipment utilised by the UK's 52 police forces.
An unknown proportion of the UK's 103,000 stolen vehicles which are not recovered each year end up being illegally exported and the extension of TRACKER's unique radio based transmission system into France creates an additional deterrent to criminal gangs profiteering from the export of stolen vehicles from this country.
In the last six years Kent Police Special Branch's Organised Auto Crime Unit has retrieved around 1000 stolen vehicles while on their way out of the UK towards France and stopped and convicted six car theft gangs.
TRACKER Stolen Vehicle Recovery Systems Now Operational In Spain
A haven for retiring Brits, for those wanting a second home in a sunny climate, and of course for some motoring holidaymakers, Spain makes for an ideal destination. Sadly, Spain's proximity to the UK also makes it a potential hiding place or "black market" for stolen vehicles. But not any more because TRACKER is now operational in Spain through its "sister" company DETECTOR. This now means extended coverage into Europe, with any TRACKER fitted stolen vehicle capable of being located and retrieved in Spain as well as in the UK and France.
As soon as the TRACKER system is activated in a stolen car, the signal can be picked up by the Police and, in the unlikely event a TRACKER-fitted vehicle makes it to Spain, then it will be the Spanish Police, the Guardia Civil and the Policia Local, who will utilise their police tracking computers to locate the stolen vehicle in co-operation with DETECTOR. Communications are then made with TRACKER HQ based in Uxbridge, to ensure the vehicle is returned to its rightful owner, whether in Spain, or in the UK.
A spokesperson at the Kent Police Ports Autocrime Unit, commented, "Vehicle thieves believe that once they get out of the UK with a stolen vehicle, then they are safe. With the assistance of tracking devices such as TRACKER now detectable in Spain, this will hopefully assist the Autocrime Unit in our operations to crack professional theft gangs running right now between the UK and Spain."
Michelle Healy, TRACKER's marketing manager, said, "With TRACKER working hand in hand with DETECTOR and the Spanish Police, we hope that UK vehicle owners in Spain, whether one of the 627,000* Spanish property owners or indeed holiday makers taking a driving holiday, will feel reassured that, should their pride and joy be stolen, the police will be able to track the vehicle down."
TRACKER has operated in the UK since 1993 and in March 2003, began locating stolen vehicles in France in conjunction with Traqueur and the Gendarmerie Nationale and the Police Nationale. For information on DETECTOR (in Spanish and English) visit www.grupodetector.com
