BOOK INSTALLATION
SmarTrack utilises the satellite based GPS system for Vehicle location. This enables the 24hr Secure Operating Centre to pinpoint your Vehicles exact location within seconds. GSM technology is employed to communicate with the SmarTrack system.
The Protector+ incorporates a movement sensor, which detects unauthorised movement of your Vehicle.
If the Vehicle is illegally moved, a signal is sent to the SmarTrack Secure Operating Centre who will in turn call the owner to confirm a possible theft. If the theft is confirmed, SmarTrack can begin to track the Vehicle live.
The Protector+ is supplied with its own back up battery. If your battery is disconnected SmarTrack will call and alert you of this.
If your Vehicle is stolen, you will need to obtain an incident/crime number over the phone, from your local Police and pass this to the 24hr SmarTrack Secure Operating Centre. SmarTrack will then establish the exact location of the stolen Vehicle using GPS technology and highly detailed mapping screens and liase with the Police, Security and Recovery services providing regular location updates as necessary until your Vehicle is located and recovered.
Once your Vehicle has been located, SmarTrack will arrange for a Security Guard to wait with it until recovery can be arranged.
Unlike other tracking devices, SmarTrack can be transferred from one Vehicle to another by our SmarTrack approved engineers.
SmarTrack Subscription
You can choose to pay your subscription either annually or duration of ownership payment. And Your Annual subscription is Fully Transferable at No extra cost. You can also transfer your Duration Subscription within the 1st year of fitting too.

Transferring Your SmarTrack
Unlike other tracking devices, SmarTrack can be transferred from one vehicle to another.
This must be carried out by our SmarTrack approved engineers. When you are ready to change your vehicle, just call us on 08454 - 638134 to arrange the swap over.

At 4.31am early one Sunday morning in October a Mr Smith (name protected) was called and woken up by our control room calling with regard to his Lancer EVO. Our staff had a Battery tamper warning on a SmarTrack and were very concerned due the time of morning. The vehicle then showed movement without the ignition on position so the security staff were getting increasingly concerned. Mr Smith then looked out of his bedroom window to see a pile of broken glass and no EVO. He called the Police and got an Incident number, our staff tracked the EVO live until it stopped suddenly. At 4.47 Police control said that they had the EVO in site but sadly no thieves. The Police suspect a back up vehicle was used so they were probably a professional gang with this type of High Powered Vehicle in mind.
